Overview

As national momentum builds towards a decarbonized transportation sector, the Southeast is experiencing substantial growth across the transportation electrification space, from electric vehicle manufacturing investment and employment to charging infrastructure and EV sales. However, with much of the Southeast lagging the national average for EV sales, there is still much more work to be done to ramp up the industry in the region.

Please join E2 and the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) for a discussion on economic development in the Southeast’s electric transportation industries and what’s needed from policymakers to continue to expand EV deployment in the Southeast, including an overview of SACE’s recent Transportation Electrification in the Southeast report–a collaboration between SACE and Atlas Public Policy. In addition, we’ll hear from multiple business voices from the Southeast’s nascent electric transportation market, who will reflect on their companies’ work and share perspectives on continued growth opportunities for the Southeast region.
