Alliance combines CTLR’s network of senior clean energy executives with E2’s national reach, policy expertise, and advocacy platform.
WASHINGTON — E2, the nation’s most effective business organization for the environment, and Cleantech Leaders Roundtable (CTLR), the nation’s most influential group of cleantech leaders, today announced they are joining forces.
E2 is a nonpartisan organization of business leaders that, during its 26-year history, has helped pass some of the nation’s most important climate and clean energy policies. CTLR is the premier private network for senior leaders driving the transition to resilient infrastructure, energy independence, and sustainable economic growth.
Under the agreement, CTLR will retain its name and identity and will become a program of E2, backed by E2’s national and state policy, advocacy, and communications resources. CTLR CEO Ann Davlin and other CTLR staff will join the E2 team. The move comes as CTLR prepares to mark its 10th year in 2027.
The addition of CTLR’s cleantech executives to E2’s national network of more than 13,000 business leaders will significantly bolster E2’s reach, influence, and advocacy strength and expand its national footprint.

CTLR members will keep the strategic networking, investment opportunities, and dynamic events with the candid, off-the-record dialogue that has defined the network since its founding. As part of E2, CTLR members will now also have a powerful outlet to amplify their voices and help shape and pass policies to expand clean energy and improve our economy and our environment. They can also participate in E2’s national and regional events and access E2’s renowned data and research, which tracks the clean economy.
