WASHINGTON, DC (October 28, 2021) – The White House and congressional negotiators today unveiled the framework for the budget reconciliation package to be passed alongside the bipartisan infrastructure legislation and implement the core of President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda.

Statement from Bob Keefe, E2 Executive Director:

“Our economy, our workforce, and our planet have been waiting for this for a very long time.

“This is the market signal that gives clean energy companies the confidence to invest in hiring new workers, launching new projects, building new factories here at home and have the long-term confidence they need to help America lead the world in the shift to a cleaner energy economy.

“Congress must move quickly to pass this package so businesses can get to work.”
