Overview

After two decades of progress on climate and clean energy, California lawmakers are continuing to develop and implement the policies we need to avert catastrophic climate change. But what policies are still needed, how will they influence our lives, and what is the business community’s role?

State Senator Scott Wiener, representing the city and county of San Francisco, is stepping up to this challenge and advancing the conversation by introducing and supporting legislation on housing, transportation, renewable energy, water conservation and ocean resilience.

Please join E2 and Senator Wiener for a lively discussion about the future of California’s climate leadership, the trail-blazing policies championed by the Senator, and a firsthand look at at the bills and topics that your lawmakers are debating now.

E2 Chair and Co-Founder Nicole Lederer will host and Northern California Chapter Director Mary Solecki will moderate the conversation with the Senator.

Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
