Overview

The past few years we’ve had a leading publication put the plastic issue on the cover of their magazine, major brands from the consumer goods forum redesigning plastic waste out of their operations and packaging, bans on plastics bags, straws and micro beads, and entrepreneurs putting purpose before profit.

And NGO”s the world over are helping to drive these changes.

While there are no shortage of issues facing our oceans, one thing for certain is that we need action and scalable solutions. On March 27th and 28th, influential leaders will gather at The Plaza at Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro, CA for the Rising Tide Summit. This will be a gathering of like-minded individuals to discuss how we can all work together and find simple solutions in our everyday lives to drive the large scale ideas that will move the needle for a healthy ocean.

This summit is a search for solutions. Solutions that are actionable by every single business and citizen of this planet. And there is no better place to have this conversation than in California:

+ 5th largest economy in the world ($3 Trillion)
+ California represents 14.08% of the US GDP
+ California’s 4.9% increase in GDP last year was twice the growth of the U.S.

We have the power to move markets in the right direction when it comes to protecting our ocean under a blue economy.

Our goal is clear and simple. To chart a new course in ocean conservation. With specially curated keynotes, panels, q&a’s, and workshops, attendees will walk away inspired and ready to take action. Topics include engaging voters, scaling solutions to plastic pollution, turning the tide on coral bleaching, business for a higher purpose, the power of surf therapy, ocean leadership in a time of divisive politics and other priority issues along with a State of our Ocean address delivered by a special guest.

The 2019 Rising Tide Summit is proudly being underwritten by XPRIZE Foundation, Marisla Foundation, and HDX Mix with additional support from AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles. If you, your organization or company would like to participate and support this event, please use the contact form and we’ll get right back to you.

Let’s get to it: We’ve got an ocean to protect and we can’t do this without you.
