Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all corners of the economy, and clean energy and clean economy businesses are no exception.

Please join E2 to learn more about the just-passed CARES economic stimulus package, what it means to businesses and their and workers, and what E2 is doing to make sure the next economic stimulus package and other legislation includes provisions that are good for our economy and our environment.

Sandra Purohit, E2’s Director of Federal Advocacy, will give an overview of E2’s ongoing economic stimulus work at the federal level, and how you can help.

Burl Kelton, public affairs specialist with the Small Business Administration will give an overview and answer questions about how businesses can apply for SBA emergency economic injury funds and the importance for businesses to act quickly to seek Economic Injury Disaster Loans and Paycheck Protection Program loans.

Illinois Rep. Sean Casten, a clean energy entrepreneur who now serves on key House committees, will also discuss additional actions Congress is working on to restart the economy – including a potential fourth economic stimulus package. You’ll learn why it is important to add your voice to advance policies that support the clean energy economy, and how to participate.
