Overview

The Business Alliance for Protecting the Pacific Coast (BAPPC) is the leading business voice opposing new and expanded oil and gas development off the Pacific Coast. BAPPC formed in response to the Trump Administration’s plans to open federal waters off California, Oregon, and Washington to new oil and gas drilling via the Five-Year Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program. This plan puts forth the most radical proposed offshore drilling program ever and proposes seven lease sales along the Pacific Coast beginning in 2020, including six leases along California’s coast.

Please join BAPPC members and West Coast business leaders for a webinar to learn more about the Trump Administration’s Proposed Program, the risk expanded offshore drilling poses to our economy, advocacy opportunities for the business community, and the critical importance of business engagement to oppose this irresponsible expansion.

BAPPC is comprised of businesses across the economy and throughout the West Coast. BAPPC members understand that the health of our economy depends on a clean and healthy ocean. Businesses interested in learning about BAPPC, as well as existing BAPPC members, are encouraged to join.
