A new report, Energy Efficiency Jobs in America, indicates that 36,200 of the state’s energy workers (25%) are employed by energy-efficiency businesses. That sector grew 7.1% in 2018.

According to the analysis by E4TheFuture and the national, nonpartisan business group E2 (Environmental Entrepreneurs), 41 states, including New Jersey, employ more workers in energy efficiency than in fossil fuels.
