Ron Kamen has been a leader in the development of energy efficiency and renewable energy since the 1980s. His knowledge of the field, coupled with his ability to work seamlessly across sectors, has empowered him to create partnerships between commercial clients, suppliers, utilities, and regulators. As CEO of EarthKind Energy since 2007, Ron has been standing alongside leaders in the public and private sectors, ensuring their success as he works to build a collaborative vision for a sustainable tomorrow. Ron served as president of the New York Solar Energy Industries Association for three years, piloting the public policy efforts that resulted in the quadrupling of annual solar installations and New York’s $1 billion solar program. He steered the development of the New York Solar Thermal Roadmap, and was recognized as New York’s Solar Champion in 2011.
