Mark founded Whitney Architects in 1984. Specializing in commercial interiors, Whitney has developed space for a varied group of companies, including Kraft Heinz, U.S. Cellular, The Nature Conservancy, and Bosch. He is also president of Q Design, a product design consultancy that has worked with Target, Allsteel and HON. In 2014 he co-founded The Corporate Climate Alliance (CCA), out of a conviction that businesses are well positioned to be significant players in greenhouse gas reduction.

Mark has been an E2 member since 2015. As a director of our Midwest chapter, Mark has spearheaded E2’s advocacy to phase down harmful chemicals called hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and replace them with climate-friendlier alternatives.
