Project Description

Creation of a bilingual clean energy curriculum to educate Rio Grande Valley small business owners and community health workers on the impacts of fossil fuel and the benefits of renewable energy and to increase community engagement and business support across the border region.

Project Goals

The project goal is to pilot a clean energy promotora program focused on training promotoras to deliver and expand education and outreach across the Rio Grande Valley on the impacts of fossil fuels and their contribution to systematic racism, as well as the benefits of renewable energy to community groups and small business owners.
