Overview

Interested in learning more about Oregon’s clean energy economy and the economic opportunities presented by the Cap & Invest program expected to be considered by the Legislature in early 2019?

Join E2 (Environmental Entrepreneurs) and our local partners for this gathering of the business, policy and investor communities in Greater Portland to hear about Oregon’s growing clean energy economy and explore the opportunities for further growth presented by Cap & Invest.

Oregon is already home to a thriving clean energy economy, with over 55,000 jobs in energy efficiency, solar, wind, and other clean energy industries across the state. As our elected officials consider how to best achieve the state’s greenhouse gas emission reduction goals for 2020 and beyond while supporting continued economic growth and job creation in Oregon, Cap & Invest has emerged as a carbon pricing mechanism with enormous economic upside.

We hope to have you there with us for networking, policy and investment discussions, and to learn about opportunities for members of the Greater Portland business community to directly engage with policymakers in this statewide conversation.

Food and drinks will be provided.

Featuring:
Representative Karin Power, District 41 and Co-Vice Chair Joint Committee on Carbon Reduction
Jonas Kron, Senior VP and Director of Shareholder Advocacy, Trillium Asset Management

6:00 PM – Food, Drinks & Networking
6:30 PM – Event Program Begins
7:30 PM – Formal Program Ends
