The number of Missourians employed in the clean energy sector is expected to continue to rise, according to a recent report from Clean Jobs Midwest. Missouri jobs in clean energy grew 4.5% in 2022. Thanks to federal climate investments passed last year, the industry is expected to continue its growth.

“The clean energy industry is poised for growth like we’ve never seen before,” E2’s Midwest Advocate Micaela Preskill said. “With strong data—and in a place like Missouri—local policies that complement the federal investment will be critical, and the industry will surely grow in a way that will provide new opportunities for people all throughout the state.”
