Last November, E2 was thrilled to formally announce the 10 inaugural fellows for our new E2 1 Hotels Fellowship Program, an initiative aimed at advancing our advocacy work and developing new leaders.

This fellowship was made possible through a generous personal donation from Barry Sternlicht, 1 Hotels founder and chairman & CEO of Starwood Capital Group. Each fellow will receive a $25,000 award to get them started on their year-long projects. Fellows were also awarded a membership to E2’s Emerging Leaders program.

See here for details on each our 10 fellows and the innovative projects they’ll be working on at the intersection of the economy and the environment.

We’re especially proud of their diversity and geographic reach, extending E2 to communities stretching from Detroit to New Orleans; from Boston to Boulder; from Atlanta to Los Angeles and with projects focused on electric vehicles, building efficiency, clean energy and building new networks of business leaders.

Special thanks to E2’s New York Chapter for supporting the launch event and our E2 members that were part of the fellowship selection committee.
