E2 is delighted to welcome three bright undergraduates to the team this summer as part of our inaugural E2 Clean Energy Diversity Internship.

Thanks to a grant from a generous E2 member, this internship will help educate and expose these young professionals to opportunities in clean energy and advocacy.  Interns will work with E2 advocates to advance E2’s advocacy work at the state and regional levels and to grow and amplify business voices for initiatives around E2’s Clean Jobs Count campaign. Through this work, interns will get exposure to business leaders, lawmakers, our partner organizations, such as NRDC, and others.  They will also be connected with potential career opportunities so that they will continue to be a part of the growing clean energy economy post-graduation.

Interns are already hitting the ground running, and we can’t wait to highlight their work through our various platforms in the coming weeks and months.  Be sure to look out for updates on E2’s Weekly Updates, Twitter (@e2org) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/e2.org).
