Overview

Please join E2 for a national webinar discussion on access to clean energy job training. Before the pandemic, clean energy jobs were one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy, and will be a critical piece of how we build back better. But how do we ensure that clean energy employment opportunities are equitable? What are the pathways to achieving a just transition to clean energy in rural and urban communities? The panelists will share their experiences working on policies at the state and national levels to ensure that job training opportunities in the clean energy economy are planned and executed with local stakeholders in the most impacted and often underrepresented populations.

This webinar is part of our series exploring diversity and equity in the clean energy economy. Last month, we focused on Equity & Access to Green Bank Financing, where we learned about how green banks are an important source of capital for the clean energy economy and how communities can access them.
