Launching the Carbon Economy: Businesses, Markets, and Policies

Project Description

The project will investigate the business, economic, and policy environments for commoditizing carbon dioxide, with an emphasis on enabling businesses that convert captured carbon into marketable products. The research will consist of interviews with the various businesses, agencies, and organizations in this space to understand what it will take to make the carbon economy viable.

Project Goals

The findings will be used to create a consortium (and attendant website) that facilitate and empower these businesses to grow and thrive, which will in turn reduce carbon in our atmosphere and mitigate the effects of climate change.
