Ecolodgical Columbus: guided growth of sustainable hotel operations in Ohio’s Capital City

Project Description

This project seeks to facilitate the implementation of hotel operations tactics that unlock commingled financial and environmental benefits for the rapidly growing Columbus hotel industry.  I will work directly with the operations and ownership teams of several Columbus hotels to evaluate and implement certain tactics on site, and, importantly, document the process in detail: the decisions, the setbacks, and the realized benefits.

Project Goals

The project will conclude with a multidisciplinary, in-person event that will gather Columbus hoteliers, city officials, and sustainability-minded leaders, including members of E2, to provide a platform for the project’s participating hotels to both share their experiences and inspire replication of their successes.
