Network of Sustainable Buildings in Cincinnati’s Urban Core

Project Description

Creation of Cincinnati’s Sustainable and High Performance Buildings Network. The Network, which will initially target building and property owners in the city’s downtown district, will become a catalyst for sustainability improvements in four distinct areas: energy efficiency, water efficiency, transportation emissions reductions, and enhanced building health.

Project Goals

The city of Cincinnati’s building stock alone accounts for approximately 60% of the community’s GHG emissions. In light the recent IPCC report and the significant GHG emissions reductions our communities must undertake over the next decade, it has become only more important to identify, prioritize, and assist in the adoption of sustainable and high performing building solutions.
